On September 23rd we had a 100+ USAC youth climbers compete on some of the most challenging boulders around. These “younguns” never cease to amaze me with their fundamentals and strength as they warmed up the boulders. Later that evening our citizen’s comp heated them up even more. Strong folks from all over Texas showed up to compete for cash and lots of great prizes. I would like to thank FLASHED, PETZL, Sterling, Friction Labs, Organic, Krieg and Black Diamond who contributed to this fun event. Another special thanks to the setters along with many other staff who worked hard to make sure this comp was a success. First Place in the Advanced Category went to Maddy Morris & Phil Symons.
