Why is the gym capacity limited?
Limiting gym access and total climbers help maintain social distancing and reduce crowds. This is a State-regulated percentage of total capacity that will change with the Reopening Phases.
Do I need a membership to climb?
inSPIRE is open for all climbers. Members, punch pass climbers, and guest climbers. All climbers will need to make a reservation for one of the pre-determined climbing sessions.
When are the available reservations?
We’ve staggered climbing sessions so one starts every hour.
When is the best time to book my reservation?
Reservations will be open one week in advance and will remain open until the start of the session.
Can I cancel a reservation?
Yes, if you cannot make your reservation, please call the gym and we can remove the reservation for you. This will help other members of the community as well. If you need to re-schedule you can do so online.
Can a friend take my reservation?
No. Unfortunately, reservations cannot be traded.
Can I make a reservation for more than myself?
Reservations are only intended for you and members of your household. If you have a friend that wants to climb, please coordinate with them to book themselves.
Is there a limit to the number of reservations I can make?
No, not at this time.
New Policies Questions
Who can climb and visit?
inSPIRE Rock Climbing Gyms will be open to the entire community but will be limited to the total number of climbers. We’ll also be moving to a reservation system. All climbers MUST have a reservation.
Are there still belay classes?
Yes, we will be holding classes while maintaining social distancing. You can book classes here.
How frequent are you cleaning the facilities?
We’ve adjusted our gym hours to provide daily deep cleaning, and have frequent cleaning throughout the day scheduled for all high traffic and public areas.
When will the gym be back to "normal"?
Like many, we wish we knew the answer to that question. Hopefully, we can return to a new normal soon. In the meantime, we’ll be monitoring Federal and State guidance to make climbing available to the community.
Why am I required to wear a mask?
The health of our community (climbers, staff and guests) is extremely important to inSPIRE Rock. Wearing masks is a way to limit unnecessary exposure creating a healthier environment.
- Masks are required for the following: Visitors are required to wear face masks throughout the shared spaces in the gym (lobby, walkways, locker rooms, etc).
- Masks may be removed while climbing or exercising.
- Please bring your own mask, or masks will be available for purchase in the ProShop

Can I climb if I feel sick but haven't been tested for COVID-19?
If you feel sick, you must stay home, and you won’t be able to climb. This is not only a state mandate, but it is the responsible thing to do. Please do not risk spreading illness to your friends and community.
What about yoga and fitness classes?
The Cypress location will not be holding any fitness or yoga classes. However, the Spring location will be updating schedules in line with State regulations.
Will there be kids programs?
Recreation youth programs will begin again in the fall. For summer kids programs, see kids camps.
