FLASHACRE 2022

inSPIRE Rock is excited to be continuing a Houston climbing tradition and happy to announce that the 11th Annual Flashacre is coming October 28th – 29th, 2022 at inSPIRE Rock Cypress. Join us for two days of bouldering, competition, food, drink, gear sale and fun

There is a limited number of competitor spots so make sure to get signed up early to be guaranteed a spot.

Based on last year’s turnout, we will be including a Friday night qualifier session in addition to 2 Saturday qualifier sessions for this year’s event. The top competitors in the advanced category will be invited to compete in an onsight finals Saturday evening.  Our top competitors in the beginner and intermediate categories will compete in a fun-filled, surprise finals round.

  • 6:45pm – 7:00pm: Rules Meeting
  • 7:00pm – 9:30pm: Climbing Session 1

October 29th
Session 2 Qualifiers

  • 7:15am – 7:45am: Competitor Check-In
  • 7:45am – 8:00am: Rules Meeting
  • 8:00am – 10:30am: Climbing Session 2

Session 3 Qualifiers

  • 10:15am – 10:45am: Competitor Check-In
  • 10:45am – 11:00am: Rules Meeting
  • 11:00am – 1:30pm: Climbing Session 3

  • Can I bring friends?

    Yes. While we like to think everyone is friends at inSPIRE, or they make friends when they are here, bring everyone, climbers and beginners alike. Please note, that your friend will also need a ticket.

  • Should we dress up in costume?

    Costumes are welcome, and there will be a costume contest in 2021!
