Regional Training Camp

inSPIRE Rock Cypress
May 15th and 16th, 2021

USAC Region 51 Climbers, this is your chance to get ready for our Bouldering Regional Championship. inSPIRE Cypress will be hosting a training camp to build your confidence and get you mentally prepared for Nationals. You must be a current USAC member and have qualified for the 2021 Regionals Championship in Region 51. Schedule training activities include:

• MENTAL TRAINING: Including multiple onsight rounds and high pressure drills
• MOVEMENT DRILLS: Learn how to deal with risk, coordination, complex problems, and more

Coaches:

US National Team Head Coach Megan McDonald, will be joining our top notch coaching staff to help prepare you both mentally and physically for your upcoming regional and national competitions. Megan has been teaching climbing since the 90’s and has coached multiple national champions. She specialized in training youth climbers and preparing them for competitions

Setting:

Our setting team is led by Director of Routesetting, Justin Wright, a Level 4 Routesetter with 20+ championship level events under his belt. Our team will recreate the pressures of competition and provide a unique insight ‘into the mind of a setter’.
