COVID-19 Update and Gym Update

inSPIRE Rock is now open

Rock climbing is all about risk assessment and limiting those risks while actively living life to its fullest.  Let’s work together so that we can all continue thriving safely together.

As a climbing community, we want to help balance calm with caution. The entire inSPRE Rock family monitors the evolving situation hourly and follows the recommended CDC Guidelines to the best of our ability.

Your part:

  • We ask that anyone (employee, guest, or member) with the following conditions stay home and avoid potentially exposing others.
    • Elevated fever of 99.5 or higher
    • Any acute respiratory illness such as coughs, sneezing, runny nose, or other
    • You’ve been in the proximity of a known person with the COVID-19 virus
    • You’ve recently traveled to a location that is considered high risk for infection
  • Hand hygiene/washing is important – DO IT OFTEN.
    • We recommend you vigorously wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds.
      • before climbing
      • during your climbing session & between climbs
      • after climbing
  • Follow proper sneezing/coughing etiquette – cough or sneeze into a tissue or the inside of your elbow.
  • Instead of high fives and handshakes, we recommend doing the climbing shoe “shuffle touch.”
    • Ask a team member to show you the new greeting.
  • Practice good common sense and take the precautions you feel are necessary to keep you and your family safe.

Our part:

  • inSPIRE Rock (Both Gyms) & The 5.ATE Café (in Spring) and the Coffee Bar (in Cypress) are increasing the frequency of cleaning our “high touch areas.”
    • Our cleaning standards are already high, but we will strive to do more and clean more often.
  • We are educating and reinforcing our staff on our new & specific prevention measures for our entire facility.
  • Staff must stay home if they exemplify any of the symptoms listed above.
  • We will respectfully ask any guest or staff presenting noticeable symptoms to leave our facilities.
  • Signage is posted throughout the gym with this information.

  • Our yoga schedules are changing by location.
  • @Cypress – All Yoga is temporarily canceled.
  • @ Spring – The Sunrise Yoga classes are canceled (M, W, F at 6:00 AM).
    • We will keep you posted as the schedule changes.
    • We recommend bringing your own personal yoga mat to class and avoiding using the communal mats and props.
    • We will provide cleaning supplies in both areas and recommend cleaning before and after use. This is in addition to our cleaning schedules.
    • Modify breathing techniques to inhale and exhale through your nose to avoid contamination.
  • Hand hygiene/washing is important – DO IT OFTEN.
  • We recommend you vigorously wash your hands with soap for at least 20 seconds.
    • before your yoga class, after your yoga class
