Hello, inSPIRE Friends & Family,
It has been a while since our last Newsletter, and we’ve missed you guys. I’m writing this the morning after our beloved Astros’s lost the 7th game of the World Series. They couldn’t quite seal the deal in the World Series, but I think you’ll agree they fought hard till the bitter end. Applying persistence and perseverance is valuable to climbing and, more importantly, in LIFE. Hang in there… keep pulling… the struggle makes you strong.
This November is jam-packed with lots going on here in Spring and at our sister location in Cypress.
- October 33rd (November 2nd) – We are partnering with Stone Moves to host the 8th Annual FLASHACRE Community Comp. The setters have been “setting” their butts off to create 99 Problems, and a Pinch is one! Come have fun and hang out with our community.
- November 16th – I’ll cook pancakes for our members at Breakfast-n-Boulders and Community Gear Swap. Come on out and bring your friends and old gear.
- November 17th – Our Director of Setting, Justin Wright, is bringing in Foxman McCarthy-James, a nationally known female setter to offer her expertise to our women climbers curious about route setting arts.
And more… be sure to see what’s going on so you can get plugged in and connected. Thank you again for being the “most inspiring climbing community in Texas.”
Climb ON!
